“There are few people whom I really love, and still fewer of whom I think well. The more I see of the world, the more am I dissatisfied with it; and every day confirms my belief of the inconsistency of all human characters, and of the little dependence that can be placed on the appearance of merit or sense.”

Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen

Expressing love is often a learning experience for both parties.

Here’s something to ease the pain on Mother’s Day.

1 Bourbon

.5 Fruitlab Ginger Liqueur

.5 Drillaud Elderflower Liqueur

2 Chamomile Tea*

Squeeze Lemon

Shake with ice.  Serve.

Float dried lemon slice on top.
*Loose tea may be best. Take about 1 tsp of flowers per 8 oz. and steep in refrigerator for a day or so. Strain. May dilute to taste.
